Just recently Google scored a big win over Microsoft when the government of Los Angeles decided to overhaul its existing administration software base and bring everything to the cloud with Google Apps. In perhaps a sign that Microsoft is still a force to be reckoned with, the Samsung Omnia II—running on Windows Mobile 6.5—has been chosen as the official phone for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
